Who we are
FNHA is the coordinating partner for the British Columbia sites in the SPIRIT project and is currently the only provincial First Nations health authority in Canada and was established to transform and deliver health services that reflect the values, cultures, and priorities of First Nations people in British Columbia. FNHA provides a wide range of community-based programs and services, including maternal and child health, mental wellness, primary care, health promotion, and disease prevention. FNHA supports Nations in implementing early childhood health initiatives that strengthen family and community wellness.
