Batchelor Institute is the lead partner for the SPIRIT partners in Australia. Batchelor Institute is Australia’s only First Nations tertiary education provider, holding a “Both Ways” philosophy that values and integrates Indigenous and Western knowledge systems, including for program evaluation. With a long history of delivering culturally safe vocational, higher education, and research programs, the Institute supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners through respectful, community-connected, and culturally affirming educational journeys.
